Summary of Independent Med Surg Regional Account Manager Role

  • As a freelance Regional Account manager, you are responsible for day-to-day interactions with our mutual customers.  Influencing them to spend and convert their supply purchases to bttn.  Interactions can include face to face, telephone and teleconference touch, with a mixture of all being ideal.
  • Using existing relationships, securing customer commitment to support your efforts to succeed in servicing an increasing percentage of customers overall supply spend
  • Competing with the incumbent supplier to “win” the business
  • Researching customer requested products for best value to our mutual interests.

Responsibilities:

  • Broad knowledge of the Medical/Surgical distribution business, and the expectations of the customers, and products they use
  • List of “prospect” relationships that are open doors to discuss the bttn solution
  • High degree of urgency in customer interactions
  • The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business. 
  • Contact potential or existing customers to influence customers to engage business transactions on Medical/Surgical supplies, Pharmaceutical, Laboratory and equipment. These transactions can occur directly, or by customer using bttn technology platform.
  • Interact 1:1 in influencing by detailing a product or service using relationships and industry experience and what can be considered, natural people skills
  • Be point person to customers in answering questions about products or the company 
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales and generate Gross Profit
  • Enter and update customer information in Salesforce CRM, keeping customer records current
  • Take and process orders in an accurate manner 
  • Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation 
  • Be responsible, and motivated for a target sales goal
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet customer needs and facilitate future sales 
  • Prospecting for new customers and making sales presentations to earn new sales

Compensation

100% commission based plan.  However, we offer an “above industry” and flexible approach to compensation.  Let's discuss your individual circumstances, as we are open to customized compensation plans that are tailored to your lifestyle.
